The City of Dublin's After-School Recreation programs promote positive youth development and support the childcare needs of families in Dublin. After-School Recreation is for children in first to fifth grades and is offered at Amador, Dougherty, Dublin, Frederiksen, John Green, Kolb and Murray elementary schools in Dublin. The program provides students with quiet time each day to complete homework, and includes a variety of group and individual activities and indoor/outdoor games to enjoy after homework time. During homework time, Recreation Leaders are available to assist students with their assignments. Each school site is supervised by a minimum of two Recreation Leaders who have leadership training and certification in First Aid and CPR. After-School Recreation runs from school dismissal until 5:45 PM, including on minimum days. Please note, After-School Recreation does not operate on school holidays.

50/50 Cheerleading and Tumbling students will learn the basics of cheerleading and tumbling. This is a great class for anyone interested in learning what cheerleading and tumbling is all about.
Join us for the Actor's Nightmare and other One Acts. When you suddenly find yourself backstage as an understudy for a role and you don't know, in a play you can't remember, and you find out that tonight, you must go on for the lead actor, that's the actor's nightmare! Everyone is cast. Additional rehearsals: Wednesday, May 10, 5:30-8:30 PM and Friday, May 12, 4:00-9:00 PM. The Theater Factory specializes in directing individuals to act for the camera with confidence. Acting exercises and games make it easier to develop communication skills and a better body language coupled with excellent speech modulation skills. We shoot the process for you to see. The end production will be showcased on our Youtube channel!

Students create and present a speech on a topic of their choice, developing research and organizational skills to craft an effective speech. Most importantly students learn to control their nerves and gain confidence. Students will earn the basics of this Olympic sport while developing proper techniques and confidence to perform these skills, including an introduction to vault, pommel horse, rings, floor, parallel bars and high bar.
Make sure your child learns proper technique before doing tumbling tricks. This acrobatic discipline is often used in other sports such as cheerleading and diving. Students will learn basic skills including cartwheels, handstands, rolls and progressions for round-offs. Learn how to do tumbling and back hand springs on our in-ground and above-ground Tumble-Tracks.
Championship Group lessons focus on very high level competition with a strong emphasis on conditioning. This class is for players ready to compete in Championship level USTA tournament play. Required prerequisite: Tournament Group - Open. Instructor/Student ratio of 1:6.
