Acting Up - An Introduction to Theatre - 142010

Acting Up is an introduction to theater for our youngest actors in the primary grades. This class covers all the elements of being in a full production: singing, dancing, staging and memorizing lines. This winter/spring, Acting Up students will be joining the cast of our Class Act Youth Theatre production. Acting Up students will be featured in Disney's Peter Pan Jr. as lost boys, pirates, fairies, and more.

DISNEY'S PETER PAN JR.
Wendy Darling loves to tell stories to her brothers, Michael and John. But when her father announces she must move out of the nursery, Peter Pan comes to visit the children and whisks them away to Neverland. Their journey introduces them to the Lost Boys, Mermaids, Indians and even the infamous pirate, Captain Hook! It’s Peter to the rescue when Wendy is taken captive by the dreaded captain, who has his own sinister plans in mind for our hero.

Students may be asked to provide simple costumes and props for the production. Show run-time is approximately 40 minutes. The final presentation will be at the Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 East Wood Street. To purchase tickets, visit CuttingHall.org or call 847-202-5222. Additional ticketing fees may apply.
